10 REALTOR INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
7. Should I have an inspection done before I list my home?
- A pre-listing inspection allows you to see what buyer's inspector will likely report and for you to often remedy these "problems" for a fraction of the cost.
- For example, having some maintenance done in your crawl space or basement to rid it of any signs of moisture may cost a homeowner several hundred dollars upfront. Waiting until you get a contract on your house? You could end up getting tagged for $3,000 to $7,000 unnecessary mold remediation bill from a remediation specialist brought in by a nervous buyer.
